Erica is half German and half Ghanian, however, she was born and raised in the United States. She will represent Ghana in Miss Universe 2011. Leila Luliana da Costa Vieira Lopes (born February 26, 1986) is an Angolan beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Angola 2011 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant.
Born in Benguela, Angola to parents from Cape Verde, Lopes is a business management student in Great Britain, where she was crowned Miss Angola UK on October 8, 2010, the official representative of the Angolan community in the United Kingdom to the 2011 Miss Angola pageant.
Lopes, who stands 1.79 m (5 ft 10 1⁄2 in) tall, competed as one of 21 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Angola, held in Luanda on December 18, 2010, where she obtained the Photogenic Award and became the eventual winner of the title, gaining the right to represent Angola in Miss Universe 2011.
As the official representative of her country to the 2011 Miss Universe pageant, broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011, Lopes will vie to succeed current Miss Universe titleholder, Ximena Navarrete of Mexico.

Jurema Ferraz (born on February 14, 1985) is an Angolan beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Angola 2010 and represented her country in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant.
Ferraz, who stands 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) tall, competed in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Angola, held in Luanda on December 10, 2009, where she became the eventual winner of the title, gaining the right to represent Angola in Miss Universe 2010.
As the official representative of her country to the 2010 Miss Universe pageant broadcast live from Las Vegas, Nevada on August 23, Ferraz participated as one of the 83 delegates who vied for the crown of eventual winner, Ximena Navarrete of Mexico.
